RDC7 Chair Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto congratulated during the RDC Full Council meeting on June 15,  the staff of the RDC7 Secretariat and Bohol PDC Secretariat who passed the recent Environmental Planners  (EnP) Licensure Exam.  The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the exam last 8-9 June. NEDA 7 assumes Yolanda PMO functions

After ten months of monitoring and validating Yolanda projects, programs, and activities (PPAs) in 16 Northern Cebu local government units (LGUs), the Yolanda Project Monitoring Office (YPMO), under the direct supervision of NEDA 7, ceased to operate effective July 1, 2016 with the expiration of the contracts of the YPMO personnel. RDC Subcommittee on Power visits KSPC Power Corporation Coal-Fired Power Plant

The Subcommittee on Power of the Central Visayas Regional Development Council (RDC) visited the coal-fired plant of the KEPCO-SPC Power Corporation in Barangay Colon, City of Naga in Cebu on 19 May 2016. The KEPCO-SPC Power Plant has a rated capacity of 206 MW and provides about 10 percent of the requirements of the Visayas grid. The Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) of the Negros Island Region (NIR) held its first organizational meeting on 10 May 2016 at the Nature’s Village Hotel in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
