In recognition of his achievement, the Regional Development Council (RDC) 7 has honored Cebuano historian and writer Dr. Resil B. Mojares, who was named National Artist for Literature for 2018. Bohol Gov. Arthur Yap and industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue are the nominees for chairperson and co-chairperson of the Regional Development Council (RDC) in Central Visayas for the 2019-2022 term. RDC 7 selects new PSRs for 2019-2022 term

The Regional Development Council (RDC) in Central Visayas has a new set of private sector representatives (PSRs) for the 2019-2022 term. A total of 14 PSRs from the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor were selected by designated voters from private sector organizations that were earlier accredited by the RDC.
