The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Office VII is inviting applicants for the the following positions:

1.       Economic Development Specialist II (SG-16) - Macro Inter-Sectoral Coordination Assistance Division (MICAD) (Item No. ODGB-EDS2-72-1998). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job; one year of relevant experience; four hours of relevant training; Civil Service Professional Eligibility or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any of the following areas: Economics (Macro and Regional), Mathematics/Statistics, Information/Communication Technology, Agriculture/Industry/ Business, Regional/Urban/Land Use Planning, Development Communications, Political Science and Public Administration/ Management.

2.        Economic Development Specialist I (SG-13) Office of the Regional Director (ORD) (Item No. ODGB-EDSI-22-1998). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job; Civil Service Professional Eligibility or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Civil Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics; must be knowledgeable in project development, information technology and various computer softwares.

Submit application letter, comprehensive bio-data, college transcript of records, and Civil Service Eligibility Certificate to the Regional Director, NEDA Regional Office No. 7, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City on or before 15 October 2011.

Qualified applicants will have to take the NEDA Technical Examination.
