Annual Investment Program (AIP)
NEDA coordinates the formulation of the country's national and regional development plans and the accompanying investment programs. For the region, these are translated into the Medium Term Regional Development Plan (MTRDP) and the Regional Development Investment Program (MTRDIP). The MTRDIP provides the link between planning and budgeting because it serves as basis for budget preparation.
The Annual Investment Program (AIP) is the annual slice of the MTRDIP and becomes the primary source of programs, activities and projects to be proposed for inclusion in the annual budget proposals of regional line agencies.
