The Central Visayas Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC 7) conducted on 7-9 December 2011, a training on "Establishing a Common Regional Statistical Indicators Database Using DevInfo 6.0" for representatives of regional line agencies and LGUs.

This is the second training on DevInfo 6.0 conducted by RSCC 7 this year. The first was on 1-3 June for the first batch of trainees.

The second batch of trainees, with 18 trainees in all, came from such government agencies as the Professional Regulation Commission, National Nutrition Council, Bureau of Agricultural Statistics, Bureau of Customs, CHED, BIR, POEA, PagIBIG-HDMF, TESDA, DPWH, DSWD, and DBM; and LGUs such as Bayawan City, Mandaue City and Bohol Province.

DevInfo 6.0 is a database freeware developed by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

RSCC 7 is using the DevInfo for a Regional Statistical Indicators Database that would eventually be accessible on the web.
