Officials and members of the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee in Central Visayas (RSCC 7) honored RSCC 7 Chairperson and NEDA 7 Regional Director Marlene Catalina P. Rodriguez with a plaque of appreciation in a meeting held last July 8, 2011 at the Northwinds Hotel, Cebu City.

Director Rodriguez, who will be leaving NEDA in August, was recognized for her initiative in organizing RSCC 7 in 2007 and her invaluable support in enhancing the statistical capability of stakeholders in the region. She has been instrumental in making possible the conduct of trainings of the Statistical Research and Training Center (SRTC) in the region. She has also coordinated with the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) in the conduct of briefings for regional stakeholders.

RSCC 7 Co-Chairperson and NSO 7 OIC Regional Director Ariel Florendo, together with Director Raymundo Talento of NSCB, handed over the plaque of appreciation to Director Rodriguez.
