The technical staff of NEDA 7 and the Planning and Development Offices of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, Siquijor and ten (10) cities learned protocol, social graces and conference management from DFA 7 Protocol Officer Angel Espiritu II in a seminar sponsored by NEDA 7 last May 31, 2011.

The participants, all Secretariat of regional and local development councils, learned the proper handling and placement of the Philippine flag, order of precedence, proper seating of guests in conferences, ushering and/or escorting a VIP, table manners and etiquette, proper grooming for men and ladies, among others.

More than 65 participants attended the one-day seminar.

All had a positive feedback on the seminar, appreciating its usefulness for both personal and official use, as well as the management of their respective development councils' meetings and other official events.
