Argeo J. Melisimo, RDC-PSR from Bohol, took his oath of office as RDC Co-Chair in Malacanang last January 31, with President Benigno S. Aquino III administering the oath. Mr. Melisimo presided over the RDC meeting on February 1. Mr. Melisimo will serve as Acting Chairman pending the selection by the President of the new RDC Chairman.

Mr. Melisimo is not new to the Central Visayas RDC. This is his fourth term as RDC-PSR of Bohol, the first being in 1998. He was the chairman of the RDC-Economic Development Committee for two terms covering the years 2001 to 2007.

He is President of the First Consolidated Bank or FCB, since 1988. His affiliations for development-oriented initiatives include the Bohol Chamber of Commerce and Industry. the FCB Foundation, Bohol Sandugo Foundation, and the Loboc Youth Education Association which nominated him as PSR for this RDC term. Born in Loboc Bohol, he is is an active partner of the LGU of Loboc in its development innovations.
