Central Visayas participants give substantial feedback on the MTPDP 2011-2016

More than 120 participants from regional agencies, GOCCs, LGUs, academe, civil society, NGOs and business/private sector in Central Visayas gave their comments, inputs and recommendations for improvement of the Medium Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP) 2011-2016 last January 6, 2011 in a public consultation held at the Montebello Villa Hotel in Cebu City.
“I am happy with the substantial feedback we got from the participants,” NEDA 7 Regional Director Marlene Catalina Rodriguez said after the consultation.

The ZOPP workshop and gallery methods facilitated the generation of substantial feedback within a short span of time.
The participants, who were presented with all the nine chapters of the draft MTPDP, were able to appreciate the interrelatedness of the chapters, and were free to comment not just on their sectoral topic or theme, but on all chapters of the MTPDP.

RDC 7 Co-Chair Argeo Melisimo (PSR) closed the consultation with an emphatic remark for effective plan implementation at the front lines.
