In line with the formulation of the Medium-Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP) 2011-2016, a regional consultation will be held on January 6 at the Montebello Villa Hotel in Cebu City. The consultation aims to ensure that Central Visayas issues and concerns are considered in the policies, programs and strategies indicated in the Plan.

All the other regions in the country will be consulted as well, starting January 4 with the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and Central Luzon.
